Super Hans co-writes new Alan Davies sitcom

‘Whites’ is the BBC’s latest sitcom offering, which centres around the life of a chef called Roland White.

Get it? its a clever name, because Whites is what chefs wear, but its also his surname.

The show is co-written by Oliver Lansley (who wrote FM in 2009) and Peep Show’s Matt King (who plays Super Hans).

As you can see from the promo picture, Roland is played by Jonathan Creek and Dobby from Peep Show and the girl from IT crowd also star.

The duo have said that they have been writing the idea for the last 4 years, mainly focusing on King’s experience working in Michelin starred restuarants.

‘Whites’ starts next Tuesday at 9 on BBC 2.
