BigTalk sales ‘Free Agents’ to NBC
Remember Channel 4’s sitcom Free Agents?
Thought not, well anyway it has been announced today that the series is going to be remade in America by NBC.
This seems a very bizarre choice of sitcom to remake especially due to the response it received over here, i mean it didn’t exactly cause a storm, despite starring Brticom a-listers Stephen Mangan and Sharon Horgan.
It will be the first show produced by Simon Pegg’s Bigtalk Productions to make it over to America, this might go someway to answering why this is being remade as hot off the heels of Hollywood smash ‘Scott Pilgrim Vs The World’ Bigtalk seem to be making big waves in the States.
Big Talks latest sitcom Him and Her starts Monday at 10.30pm on BBC Three.

I saw the UK version and actually thought it was very good. It must have something special for NBC to pick it up
